Introducing ARQ Infinity – Full Site AutoRestore and Full Site Quarantine

ARQ Infinity Is The First Of Its Kind In Website Security Protection:

Understanding General ARQ Infinity Concepts: Please take the time to read the Read Me Help buttons on the AutoRestore and Quarantine pages so that you have a general understanding of how these powerful and amazing new features work. The most important things to remember are:

1. Quarantine allows you to Undo or reverse any action that was taken by ARQ Infinity by using the Quarantine Restore File Radio button form option.
2. Any time you are installing or updating plugins or WordPress the ARQ Infinity Cron needs to be turned Off.
3. Use the Backup Files buttons to backup up new or updated files before turning the ARQ Cron back on.

ARQ Infinity Is Very Simple To Set Up and Use: ARQ Infinity Setup times takes less than 1 minute. There are 4 simple Quick Setup steps on the AutoRestore/Quarantine Settings page. To take ARQ Infinity to the next level and Add or Exclude folders and files please read the Read Me help button on the Add / Exclude Files page.

Quick Setup Steps:
1. Turn Off the AutoRestore/Quarantine ARQ Cron Check.
2. Backup your files by clicking ALL 4 of the Backup Files (Quick Setup) buttons before turning the AutoRestore/Quarantine ARQ Cron On.
3. Then select the ARQ Cron Check Frequency that you would like to use.
4. Then select Turn On ARQ Cron and click the Save ARQ Cron Options button.

FailSafes And Undo: ARQ Infinity has been extensively tested and has many FailSafes built into so that any mistakes will be prevented before they happen. The ARQ Infinity Cron check will automatically shut itself down and not autorestore or quarantine files if a serious mistake is made. AutoRestore and Quarantine work together so that any action taken by ARQ Infinity is reversible – you can Undo any action.

Protect ALL Website Files: ARQ Infinity allows you to monitor and protect all of your WordPress files as well as allowing you to add non-WordPress files located anywhere else under your Website and Hosting Account to the ARQ Infinity Cron check. Your entire site can be monitored and protected by ARQ Infinity.

NEW htaccess Security Filter Added: A new htaccess security filter has been added to the Root htaccess file.
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} \-[sdcr].*(allow_url_include|allow_url_fopen|safe_mode|disable_functions|auto_prepend_file) [NC,OR]
This new security filter protects against a new CGI vulnerability discovered in PHP 5.3.x and 5.4.x. Your Root htaccess file will automatically be updated and this new security will be added when installing BPS Pro 5.1.8. You may briefly see this alert – BPS Pro Alert! Your site does not appear to be protected by BulletProof Security – while your Root htaccess file is being updated.
