• New Feature:
 BPS Pro Plugin auto-update: BPS Pro already had automatic updates (Shiny updates – update now link) on the WordPress Plugins page. BPS Pro now also has plugin auto-update capability for the BPS Pro plugin. BPS Pro Plugin auto-updates can be enabled by clicking the “Enable BPS Pro auto-updates” link under the BPS Pro plugin description on the WordPress Plugins page. When BPS Pro Plugin auto-updates is enabled the link status will display: BPS Pro auto-updates On in green font. BPS Pro Plugin auto-update Options: Turn On|Off, BPS Pro auto-update Cron Check Frequency: 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours, send or do not sent email notification and To, From, CC and BCC email options. Dev Note: BPS Pro Plugin auto-update is a custom plugin auto-update feature for the BPS Pro plugin only and is not hooked into or related to the WP plugin auto-updates feature for all other plugins in the WP Plugin Repository.

• New Feature: JTC Anti-Spam|Anti-Hacker: A color picker has been added to change the text color for the JTC Title|Text option text and for a new added option: JTC Title|Text After. New options have also been added to make the JTC Title|Text bold. This allows someone to match WooCommerce Form text or customize their JTC Title|Text any way they would like. Dev Note: The color pickers for the JTC Title|Text and JTC Title|Text After text options are independent of each other to allow different text colors for each text option. • Procedural Update: MScan: Fixed several known false positive File Hash mismatch issues. Dev Notes: WP Default Themes create these files after theme installation: .stylelintignore, .stylelintrc-css.json and .stylelintrc.json. These files are now whitelisted. index.php files with define(‘WP_USE_THEMES’, true); code in the file were falsely detected as a WP Core files and scanned using file hash comparison scanning. These index.php files are now unset from the file hash comparison array and scanned using pattern matching.

• Procedural Update: MScan: File Hash Maker Completed and Scan Completed status window visual improvements.

• Procedural Update: MScan: Additional checks added to MScan in page error checks for the Query Monitor plugin is activated and WP_DEBUG is in use. Dev Note: The Query Monitor plugin and WP_DEBUG cause problems for the MScan scanning process. Debugging should only be done when you are actually performing debugging. Debugging should not be left on permanently.

• Procedural Update: MScan Scan Status: Additional JavaScript condition added in MScan scan status js to prevent the “Calculating Scan Time Exceeded” message from being briefly displayed when the Start Scan button is clicked.

• Procedural Update: Login Security Alerts: Additional help info added to the Login Security Alert message on how to turn Off Login Security Alerts.

• Removal: Easy Updates Manager Plugin Dismiss Notice: The Easy Updates Manager Plugin no longer interferes with BPS Pro plugin upgrade checks.

• Removal: Setup Wizard AutoSetup: The WP Super Cache plugin has been removed from the Setup Wizard AutoSetup feature. WPSC AutoSetup is no longer necessary for the WPSC plugin. Dev Note: The default caching option settings in WPSC no longer create htaccess code. If you choose the WPSC Advanced > Expert option setting then use these manual setup steps to add WPSC htaccess code in BPS Root Custom Code: Copy the WPSC Mod Rewrite Rules htaccess code into this BPS Root Custom Code text box: 1. CUSTOM CODE TOP PHP/PHP.INI HANDLER/CACHE CODE, click the save Root Custom Code button and activate Root Folder BulletProof Mode.

• PHP Error Fix: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “extension” in pwizard-functions.php on line 905.

• Procedural Update: Plugin Firewall AutoPilot Mode: A warning message has been added to AutoPilot Mode when AutoPilot Mode is turned Off. AutoPilot Mode automatically creates Plugin Firewall whitelist rules. When AutoPilot Mode is turned Off whitelist rules will need to be created manually.

• Procedural Update: BPS Pro Upgrade Notification Email: The BPS Pro Upgrade Notification Email now displays the BPS Pro upgrade version available in the email notification. The Site URL line of text has been moved up in the email notification to display directly below the “A new version of BPS Pro is available: BPS Pro x.x”. Dev Note: Since these changes were made in BPS Pro 16.4 then these changes will take effect when upgrading from BPS Pro 16.4 to BPS Pro 16.5.

• Procedural Change: AutoRestore|Quarantine: The WP Updates page Bulk plugin update failsafe warning message for BPS Pro has been changed to only display this warning message for one specific scenario where this one particular scenario could cause a problem.

• Procedural Update: ini_set Options: Status column was displaying blank status for some server config scenarios.
