New Features/Tools/Options |
New Feature: Maintenance Mode – FrontEnd/BackEnd Maintenance Mode Maintenance Mode Guide The previous Maintenance Mode feature in BPS Pro has been completely removed/replaced with the new Maintenance Mode feature in BPS Pro 8.2. This is a completely new BPS Pro feature. The new BPS Maintenance Mode design includes 20 background images, 15 center images (text box image), allows you to embed image files and YouTube videos, FrontEnd Maintenance Mode, BackEnd Maintenance Mode or both FrontEnd & BackEnd Maintenance Modes and most importantly is fast and simple to use so that you can switch in and out of Maintenance mode quickly and easily. Background image files/options and Center images (text box image) are independent of each other so that you can mix and match different background images with different Center images (text box image). |
AutoRestore New Option: Standard WP Cron or WP Cron with Time Restriction (user feature request) The Standard WP Cron option setting allows the AutoRestore Cron to run a WordPress Cron job normally with all the normal behavior of WordPress Cron jobs. The WP Cron with Time Restriction options setting (user feature request) adds an additional time restriction condition for when the AutoRestore Cron is allowed to run again. For example if you choose the WP Cron with Time Restriction options setting and choose 5 minutes for the Cron frequency then a timestamp condition is created where the AutoRestore Cron will not run until 5 minutes has passed since the last AutoRestore Cron job has run – even if a WordPress Cron is triggered within that 5 minute time restriction window of time. See the Blue Read Me help button on the AutoRestore page for additional information about this new option. |
Plugin Firewall New Additional Whitelist Tool: “Allow from” Whitelist rules This new option/Tool is for adding additional “Allow from” whitelist rules to whitelist additional domain names or IP addresses in your Plugin Firewall .htaccess file. BPS Pro Core Plugin/Theme Script Dequeue function added: Dequeue any/all other plugin or theme scripts that attempt to load in BPS Pro plugin pages: A new BPS Pro Core function has been added that Dequeues any/all other plugin or theme scripts on/in BPS Pro plugin pages ONLY, which causes a wide variety of problems for BPS Pro, such as broken plugin functionality, broken menus and pages not displaying visually correct. This new BPS Pro Core Dequeue function only runs on/in BPS Pro plugin pages and does not run anywhere else or affect anything else on a website. The BPS Pro Core Dequeue function is only designed to prevent any other plugins or themes from loading their scripts in BPS Pro plugin pages and does not do or affect anything else on a website. |
Security Log Code Correction/Enhancement: Security Log User Agent/Bot filter auto-updated during BPS upgrade: The BPS Pro 403.php Security Log template file is replaced during BPS Pro plugin updates/upgrades, which is normal WordPress plugin update/upgrade procedure. The BPS Pro 403.php Security Logging template is now auto-updated during BPS Pro plugin upgrades/updates and automatically adds any previously added/saved User Agent/Bot filters to the new 403.php template file if any User Agents/Bots to Ignore/Not Log were previously added/saved. |

BPS Pro is installed from the AITpro API Server. Other WordPress plugins are installed from the WordPress API Server. Plugins should not be installed from 2 separate/different Servers on the Internet at the same time. The fallback check/message/Dashboard Alert will remain just in case the BPS Pro plugin is not removed from the Updates page for some reason. |

An average amount of wp-content files should be between 200 and 1,000 files. Indicates either a problem with files that should not be in ARQ wp-content backup or serves as a heads up that an excessive amount of files are being stored/backed up under the wp-content folder that do not need to be backed up and checked by AutoRestore. ie several Themes that are not being used and that can be deleted from the website. Click Here link is displayed when excessive files message is displayed that points to a Forum Topic with instructions on what to check for to resolved the issue. |
