Whats New in BPS Pro 5.6

Sub Release 5.6.1 – Corrects a bug with the Plugin Firewall Test Mode where subdomain sites display the Root site instead of the actual subdomain site in the Plugin Firewall Test Mode window

Primary Focus: Plugin Firewall Test Mode and additional Plugin Firewall Whitelisting Tools

  Plugin Firewall Test Mode:
The Plugin Firewall Test Mode allows you to test your website as if you are a visitor to your website. Once you have thoroughly tested your website in the Test Mode window you will click the Show Results button which will display any front loading website plugin scripts that need to be Whitelisted in your Plugin Firewall .htaccess file. You can use the Plugin Firewall Test Mode at any time. You can use Test Mode before activating the Plugin Firewall or after you have already activated the Plugin Firewall.

  Additional Roles IP Whitelist Tool:
This option is for folks who have additional Administrators, Editors, Authors and Contributors who log into the website to create Posts or perform other website tasks. When you select and save additional Roles this means that any person with the Role capabilities that you have selected will have their IP addresses automatically Whitelisted when they log into the website.

  AutoRestore/Quarantine arqdelete.php Stand Alone Script:
A stand alone script has been created that allows you to Delete the AutoRestore Database Option and / or Delete the Quarantine Database Table Rows and Files outside of your WordPress Dashboard. To use this stand alone script download it from this BulletProof Security Pro plugin folder – /wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/htaccess/arqdelete.php and then upload it to your website root folder. Then type in the path to the arqdelete.php file in your Browser. Example: www.example.com/arqdelete.php. The stand alone script displays step by step instructions on how to use it. Delete AutoRestore Database Option Form – This form allows you to delete the AutoRestore Database Option so that AutoRestore will be deactivated on your website. Delete Quarantine Database Table Rows and Files Form – This form allows you to delete the Quarantine Database Table Rows & files in the Quarantine folder: /wp-content/bps-backup/quarantine.

  Class.php function Fix:
A fix was needed to correct a function name in the class.php file. The fix happens automatically and does not require you to do anything.

  Miscellaneous Enhancements & Improvements:
Lots and lots of them – too many to list.
