In prior versions of BPS Pro this was a very time consuming and confusing process. This new automation now makes creating a custom php.ini file fast and simple.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #000066;\">Help information that you will find by clicking the\u00a0Php.ini Master File Maker Read Me button<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Php.ini Master File Maker<\/strong><br \/>The first step is creating a Master php.ini file for your website with the\u00a0<strong>Php.ini Master File Maker<\/strong>\u00a0You will then create a custom php.ini file based on the Master php.ini file that you create. You will need to know 2 things about your Web Host to create your Master php.ini file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0Choose your Host Server php.ini File Type.\u00a0<strong>It is VERY IMPORTANT that you choose the correct Host Server php.ini file type<\/strong>. This information can be found by going to the Help &amp; FAQ page and clicking the\u00a0<strong>AutoMagic php.ini Handler Web Hosts List\u00a0<\/strong>link. Find your Web Host in the Web Hosts table and look at the\u00a0<strong>CT \/ SA column<\/strong>. If you see only CT and not SA\/CT for your Web Host then select the\u00a0<strong>Combined Total php.ini File &#8211; CT ONLY<\/strong>\u00a0option. If you see SA or SA\/CT for your Web Host then select the\u00a0<strong>Stand Alone php.ini File &#8211; SA or SA\/CT<\/strong>\u00a0option. If you do not see your Web Host listed please send an email to info@ait-pro.com and we will tell you which Host Server php.ini Type to choose for your Host.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"AutoMagic php.ini Handler Web Hosts List\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ait-pro.com\/aitpro-blog\/3576\/bulletproof-security-pro\/custom-php-ini-faq\/#web-hosts-list\">AutoMagic php.ini Handler Web Hosts List<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Enter the path to your Web Host Server default php.ini file\u00a0<strong>ONLY if your Host Server php.ini File Type is Stand Alone php.ini File &#8211; SA or SA\/CT<\/strong>. You will find the path either by using the BPS PHP Info Viewer or by going to the Help &amp; FAQ page and clicking on the\u00a0<strong>General php.ini Info and Host Specific php.ini Information<\/strong>\u00a0link. Click on the link for your Web Host and you will find the Host Server default php.ini path for your Web Host.\u00a0<strong>NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0You DO NOT need to add the path to your Web Host Server default php.ini file if your Host Server php.ini File Type is\u00a0<strong>Combined Total php.ini File &#8211; CT ONLY<\/strong>\u00a0(leave the text box blank).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"General and Host Specific php.ini Help Information\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ait-pro.com\/aitpro-blog\/2853\/bulletproof-security-pro\/php-ini-general-and-host-specific-php-ini-information-for-bps-pro\/\">General php.ini Info and Host Specific php.ini Information<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong>\u00a0Enter the path to your PHP Error Log file. If you only have 1 website under your Hosting Account then you can copy and paste the BPS default PHP Error Log path that is displayed to you. If you have several websites under your Hosting Account you should use the same PHP Error Log path for all of your websites. Designate 1 of your websites as the website that will have the 1 PHP Error Log file stored on it and use that same PHP Error Log path for all of your websites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT!!! For MediaTemple Web Hosting ONLY:\u00a0<\/strong>If your Web Host is MediaTemple you will need to make 1 edit to your new Master php.ini file before you create your custom php.ini file. Open your Master php.ini file and you will see this below in your Master php.ini file &#8211; change GPCS to EGPCS:<br \/>[If your Web Host is MediaTemple you will need to use &#8220;EGPCS&#8221;]<br \/>variables_order = &#8220;GPCS&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT!!! For InoxHost Web Hosting ONLY:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>InoxHost requires that you create your custom php.ini file your cPanel.
